Livestock is Somalia's leading export. Its pastoral herds supply live sheep, goats, cattle and camels to international buyers year-round, with seasonal peaks around Hajj and Eid al-Adha. We coordinate quarantine, veterinary health certification and livestock carriers from Berbera and Bosaso.

Somali frankincense is regarded as the finest in the world. Maydi (Boswellia frereana), known as the king of frankincense, grows only in north-east Somalia, while Beyo (Boswellia carteri) is harvested along the northern coast. Together with myrrh and gum arabic, they supply the perfumery, incense, pharmaceutical and food industries.

Sesame is Somalia's largest export crop, grown by an estimated 220,000 farmers on around 100,000 hectares. We supply cleaned and hulled sesame alongside peanuts, sorghum, maize and pulses — cleaned, graded and bagged to buyer specification with phytosanitary certification.
